Packing It In - Day Two

Breakfast Bagel Stop
One World Tower
9/11 Memorial and Museum

Remembering a friend.

 Survivor Stairs

The museum is built around the remains of the two towers deep in the ground. It was so moving and brought both of us to tears. The museum is very well done, and a must see in New York.
Twisted steel beams from near the 90-100th floor.

 Antenna from the top.

They found the sphere from the fountain in the plaza. It's now in Battery Park. There was so much more to see and reflect on, but we were not allowed to take photos.

China Town for lunch.
We took the subway to Grand Central Station.
And came up in the middle of a Trump protest!

 Next stop: Empire State Building

The view is breathtaking, and the city is amazing at night.

Serendipity!

Matt's Cappuccino with whipped cream and sprinkles!
 Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate!

I think Matt got tired of me making him recreate movie scenes!

Roosevelt Island Tramway ride across the East River and back.

21,000+ steps today calls for a little Deep Relief and a foot soak.
