Mattie Sings Happy Birthday

I tried to upload this on Sarah's birthday (July 11) but it wouldn't work.  For 2 weeks leading up to the big day, we practiced singing Happy Birthday to Sarah.  She hasn't stopped since.  We are now trying to get her to replace wahwah (Sarah) with bubba for Logan's birthday in a couple of weeks.  Right now it comes out - "ha burdee to oo"

Other favorite songs include "A, B, C, D" which promptly turns into "Minkle Minkle Little Star" about halfway through.  She's also getting really good at singing along with the Wiggles, and when Elmo is about to come on, she sings, "la la la la."

It's A Girl!

Meet Lauren Kay Cothern.
Born this morning at 8:42am.
7 lbs. 12 oz
19 3/4 inches

We are so excited for Rob, Julie, and Big Sister Claire!
I'm itching to get in the car and drive to Dallas to see this sweet girl.
Sorry for the blurry pic. Grandpa sent it to me via text, and I sent it to my email.
I'll post more when they share.

Praise God for a healthy baby girl!

Bathing Beauties!

I just had to swipe these from Chey's blog because they are too stinkin' cute not to share. I've got some pics in my cameras to upload, but with an amazing photog in the family, I don't take as many pictures when she is behind the camera!

The girls were so adorable prancing around the beach together. Can't wait to see them dancing together at the Wiggles in a couple of weeks.

I Got Nothin.

Kind of at a blogging standstill.

Went to Brenham last weekend for the 4th and I didn't take a single picture. We had a great time, and I was lazy - sitting on the new screened-in back patio and reading my book. We left the boys there to spend some time with Grammy and Grandpa. Got them back today. Now we regroup, play a basketball game EARLY on Saturday morning, and head straight to Houston for Sarah's 2nd birthday party. Planning to leave the boys there for a few days to hang out with Grandma, Papa, and cousin Eric.

Nothing else too exciting. Guess I better go put dinner on the table.
