The Ravens ROCKED it!

 Noah was a fast running,
 quarterback playing,
 touchdown catching,
 2 point converting,
 flag pulling,
pass defending,
Patriot killer.

The Ravens shut down the Patriots, taking a 30-0 lead, causing the mercy rule to be applied. After being forced to play defense for the rest of the game, the Ravens still kept the Patriots from scoring, and David sealed the game with a pick 6.

LoJo The Lion

 Pulling a flag!

Running hard! (he should have scored, but the Brown pulled his shorts and tackled him)

Looks like a little Barry Sanders, don't you think?

Little Mattie Monster

Looking so cute, right down to the monster bow - complete with googly eye!
Thanks, Aunt Tracye for the scare-riffic shirt!

Baby Fix

Meet sweet baby Connor Ehrlich. His Mommy was Noah's first grade teacher last year. He was born 3 weeks early, and was 11 days old in this picture. He is baby Noah size! We took them dinner and a present last week, and I got to snuggle him for a little while. I told her I might have to come visit again. :)

Bear Fair!

A Brush With A Star

After football on Saturday morning, we went to lunch at Freddy's. While we were there, Matt noticed Francis Wathier walk by. Francis is one of the Texas Stars hockey players, and my boys' FAVORITE player. His family had been having lunch with Andy, a guy Matt has worked with for the last 12 years, and also plays basketball with. Andy also has season tickets to the hockey games. Naturally, we went outside to say hello. It was really cute how shy the boys were around him. But they thought it was pretty cool to shake his hand.

After church on Sunday, we went out to lunch at a new restaurant, Qdoba. While I was waiting for the kids to wash hands, I saw a really cute little baby sleeping in a stroller outside. Then I saw his daddy, Francis Wathier! I pointed it out to Matt and the boys. I also pointed out that he will probably think we are stalking him! Naturally, we went outside to eat at the table next to his. (I know, stalking.) When he left, he asked if Matt was going to play basketball on Tuesday, because he was going to go play with Andy. You can bet Matt made sure his calendar was clear!

Fast forward to today. Matt worked from home this morning, and then left to go play basketball. About 3 o'clock, I got a text:

M - That was awesome.
Me - I take it he was there????
M - Yep and I got to guard him the entire game.
Me - Are you BFF's now?
M - Maybe after we play again on Thursday...

We are crossing our fingers and hoping that Wathier gets his contract worked out in the next few days. He really wants to stay here, and as our favorite player, we would like for him to stay too! Season tickets are being renewed, and we are already counting down the days to October. It's gonna be a long summer.

Week 4: Ravens vs. the Undefeated Raiders

The Ravens were pumped and ready for this big game. The Raiders had only had 12 points scored on them all season. Until now.
Noah takes the hand off around the corner. I think the turf monster got him!
The Ravens scored on their first drive, but couldn't convert the extra point. Before the offense could catch their breath, Cole intercepted the ball and returned it for a touchdown!
On this play, Noah should have made it 18-0.....
 ....turning the corner.....
....as he broke through the traffic, his flag was pulled loose....
....and fell out before he could get to the end zone!
 Look at those moves:

In true Raven style, defense was awesome!
They contained, read plays, and pulled flags left and right.
They even forced a safety at the end of the game. Not only did the Raven take down the undefeated Raiders, they shut them out, and scored 14 points on them! A fun game for the kids, the coaches, and the parents! Way to go RAVENS!

Week 4: Logan and the Lions vs. the Chiefs

Logan played quarterback in the first half. Here he hands off to Trey, who ran for a touchdown!
In the second half, the Lions were awesome on defense!
 Logan pulled one flag!
Matt stood up right when I took the picture of Logan with the flag. Look closely, you can just see him!

As part of fan appreciation night, after the game we were allowed down on the ice. There were a lot of people who brought their own skates!

2:00 for being so CUTE!

Mattie and I won the kiss cam! One of the prizes was an official game puck. The boys used it to play hockey with their souvenir posters:
 Face off:
