Tuesday Night Can Only Mean One Thing........

HOCKEY NIGHT!!!!

Getting ready to eat Mighty Fine cheeseburgers before the game! Yum!

These girls are pretty addicted as well:
The Stars won in overtime, 3-2.

It's Been Labeled As The Best Christmas Ever!

 SANTA CAME!!!!
He was even smart enough to have the 3DS's charging under the tree!

Ready to open a present, and checking out her HUGE castle!

That's some serious loot, boys!
Working together to open all of their gifts:

I have a feeling this is what I'm going to be seeing a lot of in the coming weeks. So filled with joy!

After tearing through the presents (which I took lots of video of), we ate breakfast, threw on some clothes, and went to a birthday party for Jesus at church. I'll have to upload video of all of the kids singing Happy Birthday.

We came home to delicious smells of Prime Rib. Matt prepared us an amazing Christmas feast.

A perfect 2 days of family, fun and celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. We are so blessed and full of His hope, peace, love and joy. We are looking forward to the upcoming week, celebrating with the rest of our families. Merry Christmas!

On Their Way To Being Nestled.......

Home from church, and a couple more pictures for Mommy.

 Cookies,
 Milk,
 And Guns Up!
(I mean carrots for the reindeer.)
 New jammies!

Sleep tight my sweet ones. Santa's on his way......

Christmas M&M Cookies With Daddy

Obviously this is all the before, and I don't have any after pictures. There was a slight mishap and the cookies came out flat and as one big cookie. Thinking back, daddy thinks he might not have put enough flour in. In the end, it didn't matter, they tasted yummy, and I don't think Santa minded either!

God With Us: Christmas Eve Service At HCBC

Waiting for the doors to open with our friends, Lauren and Luke.
Some of our sweet friends, The Ramseys:
Our candles are ready, let's sing!
Singing "Away in a Manger" on stage with Rick Trevino:

She focused really hard on her candle and did a great job!

And keeping with tradition, it snowed inside church:

We love being able to celebrate Christmas Eve at our church. We were blessed to have Papa and Grandma join us this year. And like she usually does, my sweet friend Kristin brought my dad and me to tears with "O Holy Night."

Cutest Christmas Elves Ever!

Passing out the gifts on Christmas morning.

Let There Be Light

After dinner, we took a little drive around town to look at Christmas lights. It was cold outside and warm and cozy in our sleigh. We made a quick stop for a picture under the Heritage Park tree. You can tell we weren't planning to get out of the car: no coats, no shoes, and pajamas! My favorite part was listening to the kids sing Christmas songs in the car.
Oh, and Mattie saying, "Holy Moly! That's a lot of lights!"

A Beautiful December Day

We met some friends at the park today to get outside and soak up some sunshine. The kids had a blast feeding the geese and the ducks. We also threw rocks in the water and walked the trail. Some December days, living in Texas has its benefits!

Special Daddy Together Time

Noah's at a birthday party/sleepover.
Logan gets a little extra daddy-to-himself time.
(Tune in tomorrow to find out if Noah actually made it through the night. I fully expect a call between now and midnight)

Cinderella Came To Town

And left glitter all over my living room!
'Tis the season to sparkle!

Read Any Good Books Lately?

 365:12-18-11

Great Grandma is in town (Brenham) for Christmas, so Grammy and Grandpa brought her to our house for the day. The kids showed her everything, and pretty much just showed off! I think she loved every minute of it, don't you?
