Grandma found this chrysalis hanging from her trashcan. She brought it to us in the jar on Tuesday. When we looked in on Thursday morning, we could see the shape of the wing!
When I came home from picking up kids from school, I was surprised to find a butterfly in the jar!
Logan and Mattie helped me release it in the backyard.

She flew up into the tree above our garden and stayed there for the rest of the day.
