Mom I'm Bored, Can We Go Back To Camp Cothern?

We spent almost 6 days at Grammy and Grandpa's (Camp Cothern or Grandpa's Fun Farm). The kids had a blast, and so did mommy. I was able to sleep in, relax, read an entire book (The Shack), and eat way too much. Here's a little of our weekend in the country:

Checking out the swing and smiling for Grandpa:

The newest addition to the action:

Logan getting his daddy on the swing:

Hey, I love this place!

Nothing says summer like a big, juicy slice of watermelon:

Don't forget the speedbird:

4th of July fireworks:

Noah's first roman candle:

Logan plays washers with Great-Grandma:

And trackball: (are you tired yet?)

There's always time for a tractor ride:

We can't forget the first game at Grandpa's - basketball. He had the plans drawn up for the basketball court when he found out we were having Noah!

Believe it or not, this was not all of it. I didn't get any pictures of croquette, bocce ball, homemade ice cream, ping pong, uno, dominoes, war, sliding into the swimming pool, building towers out of blocks, eating, and watching pictures. On Monday, Grandpa also took the boys to McDonald's, to see Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaur, and to get a haircut! Thanks Grammy and Grandpa for a 4th of July to remember! Whew, we need a vacation from our vacation. Good thing we are headed to the beach next week!
