At Home Christmas Highlights

One last picture of the tree before the chaos begins.
SANTA CAME!!!
He's very organized.

Noah loves the clone trooper helmet. He's already asking for the gun for his birthday.

Something other than Daddy to punch.

A first doll house for Matilyn.

I love Christmas!

Meet Violet. She knows my name!

Technology starts early these days.

Bakugan Brawl!
(Whatever that means.)

Daddy made a yummy Bobby Flay inspired brunch.

The big hit: Hot Wheels Ramps.
Daddy was the big kid on Christmas with these. He couldn't wait for the boys to open them so he could build them a track!

Mattie wants to play with the boys!
So far we have had a fantastic Christmas.
It began Christmas Eve at a beautiful church service. Carols, candles, my husband playing The First Noel (Chris Botti style) on his trumpet, and my sweet friend Kristin bringing us to tears singing O Holy Night. And I can't forget the kids' favorite part - the snow inside. Not to mention, before we left for church, it actually snowed outside!!!
I loved seeing the excitement of the boys as we put out cookies and milk for Santa, and the oatmeal for the reindeer. They could hardly close their eyes to go to sleep. Then to see their joy as each gift they opened was their favorite and what they always wanted. My favorite quote of the day was Logan. As he opened an AC adapter for his portable VSmile, he kept saying, "Wow! Wow!" I asked him, "What is it?" He excitedly responded, "I don't know!"
The day was spent in pajamas, Christmas music on the stereo, and toys everywhere. I love giving gifts to my children. How much more does God love me that He gave me the most perfect gift 2009 years ago. So hard to comprehend, yet so easy to embrace the peace, love, hope and joy of Jesus.

Merry Christmas.

Stay tuned....we have 2 more "Christmases" to go.

Popcorn and a Movie

What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
These kids love popcorn! And not to mention movies!

A Christmas Angel

"Scoochie on down."

Nothing melts your heart more than these sweet little voices singing about baby Jesus.

I LOVE this little angel.

A New Trick!

Did you see me?

Spinning Under the Christmas Tree

Zilker Festival of Lights
Spinning under the tree was so much fun!

Walking the trail of lights.
Mattie the fluffy pink marshmallow!

Mommy even let the boys roll down the hill a few times.

A photo in the "masks" as Noah called it.

Merry Christmas from 2 of the cutest boys on the planet!

Santa Trades In His Reindeer For A New Ride!

"We're Goin' on a Hunt"

"We're looking for a Christmas Tree, we're goin' on a hunt."
"Is it over here, is it over there?"
Can we just find one please? We want to go home!
BRRRRRR.
It was cold as we loaded up on the tractor in search of our perfect tree.
When we finally found one, the boys took turns helping daddy saw it down.
Logan said, "I'm so glad we found the perfect tree I always wanted!"
Taking it back to have it shook up and bundled.
Speaking of bundled:
Daddy ties it to the top of the car.

While daddy loaded the tree, the boys ran through the crazy maze 4 times!

Proof that mommy was there, too!
I'm so excited we are getting to wear the hat that Amy H. made and the coat that Amy F. made. They are soooo cute and even cuter on my Mattie!

The boys couldn't wait for mommy to get the lights on (why do I get stuck with that job?) so they could hang some ornaments.

So fun.

Ta Da!

We moved the tree to behind the front door this year. Not my favorite place for it, but we have a little mischief maker in the house. I'm sure she would have pulled it over by now trying to pull up on it, played in the water, and eaten a few ornaments! For now, it is safe.

Mommy and Daddy couldn't resist getting a little tree for the boys room:
We (or should I say Mommy) strung popcorn and made a paper-chain garland. The Mickey ornaments have been moved to their tree. And Logan's star is at the top!
The anticipation is building as presents are appearing under the tree.
We can't wait for Christmas!!!
