And So It Continues.......

Spring Football Practice
At least it helps bridge the gap to September.
Notice the laptop in the chair - I was learning Jazzercise routines!

This Is Life (On Tuesday)

I went in to the mall to order Noah a cookie cake for Friday and made the mistake of going in to Gymboree. I came out with a sack full of clothes:
Not a very glamorous picture, but that's what happens when you are crazy busy running errands all day. (Boys to school, Mattie to school, Jazzercise, Walmart, Library, Cookie Co., Gymboree, Panera, HEB, home to unload groceries, Target, pick Mattie up from school, get boys from school, homework, hunt down chapter books from neighbors, Logan's football practice, dinner, bath and kids to bed, White Collar date night, and CRASH)

Super Bowl Sunday

The Texans fought hard, but came up just short in overtime.
Still a season worth celebrating.
 Sport Sibling Super-cuties:

Great job Texans! On to the spring season......

1-2-3 WOLVES! AARROOOOOO!

Logan had a great first season of basketball. He had fun, he learned a ton, and he finally scored a basket in the very last game!
This team of kids has come a long way. Coach Foster did a great job! Way to go Wolves!
(Saturday 2/23/13)

Tourney Time

Getting down the court and getting open.
 Taking a shot.
 This kid could box out!
Wolves beat the Knicks in the first game 38-9. Then they played in the championship game in their bracket vs. the Clippers. You can see that we won:
After the game, Coach Foster took them out for pizza.
 Celebrating a great season.

Party Princess

Cinderella went to the birthday ball down the street this afternoon. Fairy LaLa helped birthday girl Ellyn and all her princess friends celebrate in a big way!

"But God Made It This Way!"

She didn't want to get it cut. I was torn too, but every night washing it and trying to brush it out? It was time for a healthy trim.
She was a little apprehensive because she thought it might hurt. She did a great job and got her green apple lollipop! She even let the girl put a bow in her hair!

Afterwards we went shopping for Ellyn's birthday present at the Disney Store. Can you tell Mommy is a sucker for this Little Mermaid?

White Collar Date Night

After the really long day, it was so nice to have this to look forward to: curling up on the couch with my honey, a little popcorn, a cold beverage, and our Tuesday night show.
(If you call me, I won't answer. Mainly because the sound stopped working on my phone today. Ugh.)

Autograph Night

Waiting in line with other season ticket holders with all of our gear to be signed.
The kids were so cute and so shy when asking for autographs.

These guys are so great to take the time for the fans.

It's hard to pick a favorite player, especially since we've had a chance to get to know some of the guys, but #6 Oleksiak is my new favorite player!
Luke has a bet with the team that he won't shave his beard or cut his hair until after the playoffs - which could end up being June! He's beginning to look a little like Jesus!

 Mattie's in pom-pon heaven!

Pretty cool experience for these little guys.
Mommy's about to give in and take a couple of boys to the ice rink.

Sunday Night Blogging

This is what you get when I forget to take a picture for the day. Catching up on my blogging while watching The Amazing Race. The picture I wish I had for today was my Q throwing a 30 yard touchdown bomb (20 in the air) to Cole in his game today! Love being a football mom.

B.F.F. (Birthday Fun with Friends)

Building Lego creations at Brady's birthday party.
Logan would like to point out that he is officially six and a half today!

Ready To Pound Some Glass

Family hockey night from the front row!

Several times we had awesome checks into the glass right in front of us. Here is Luke getting ready to dish out a hard hit:

Stars tie the game 3-3, to send the game into overtime.
And then in the 10th round of the shootout, Jamie Oleksiak scores the winning goal!

 STARS WIN!!!!
Definitely one of the best games we have been to.
