The Victory Pile

This is what little boys do when they beat Dad in a backyard soccer game.

Saturday 365: Trophy Time

The Heat won their first round game against the Hornets, but lost a hard fought rematch against the Celtics.
I'm so proud of Noah. He improved so much over the 7 week season. He had a great time, met some new friends, and learned a lot from Coach Chris.
Who are we? HEAT!
1-2-3 HEAT!!!

Bringing the HEAT!!!

The Heat finished the regular season this morning with a big win, 34-6. They are 5-1 heading into the playoffs next weekend. They are hoping to meet the Celtics (our only loss) again in the championship game. Noah has improved so much and he is totally awesome on defense! Coach Chris has done a fantastic job with these kids. He has taught them a lot and made it a fun season. He had one of the moms make autograph books for the last game today. After the game, the parents "rushed" the players to get autographs. Stay tuned for next week's box scores.....

Tonight Mommy and Mattie played trains.
She loves the tunnel that makes all kinds of sounds.
I love that Thomas is making the rounds again.

Let's Go Stars!

Logan's ready for overtime!
Noah went to the hockey game with a friend from school, so Daddy decided to treat his little man and took him to the game, too.  They had the best seats for the best game.  The Stars scored the winning goal in overtime with 3.3 seconds left!

A Date With Daddy

While the boys are at Grammy and Grandpa's, the girls got to have a date with Daddy.  We met him for dinner at PF Chang's.  We had to have a picture by the big horse.  There are also some statues on the way in to the restaurant.  When we walked by them, Mattie said, "Look at that.  They are so cute!"  What a special treat!  And boy was it yummy!

Soak Up The Sun

Sunday, I walked out in the backyard to discover Destiny and Minnie enjoying the blue sky and warm sunshine.  Silly, sneaky, little girl.

Just hit his Daddy with a snowball.

Snow Day!

 February 4, 2011
Overnight snow, ending a week of the coldest temperatures we have had in a long time.
Resulting in school being canceled, and Daddy being forced to work from home.
 Look at the snow, Mattie!
From that moment on, she called all of it a snowman.
Bundled up and ready to go.

Trying to make a basket with a snowball.

Mr. Mischief, up to no good!

Back to the backyard for some snow soccer.
 GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAL!

Logan scores the winning goal, right between Daddy's legs!

Sweet Moments

Dancing Off To Dreamland

The title of the post should really be "Dancing Princesses" since this is what Miss M calls it.  But Noah decided to join in on the dance party.  Mattie has a book of the Disney princesses, and it has 4 plastic CD's of music from each of their stories.  She likes to play the music, particularly the waltzes, and dance in her room.

One night, Mommy did an arabesque, so Mattie grabbed the crib and did one too.  The picture doesn't even capture how cute it really is.
Our bedtime routine is always changing.
This addition warms my heart and makes me smile.
I love to dance with my girl.
