Another year of hand prints added to Grammy's treasured table cloth. And for the first time in a long time, all 5 kiddos were excited about having their hands painted. No tears! Another sign that they are all growing up way too fast.
This may qualify as my first official turkey. After our master chef fell ill, I stepped in and did the best I could to create Bobby Flay's Black Pepper-Pomegranate Molasses Glazed Turkey. Thankfully Matt had prepared the molasses on Wednesday, so all I really did was follow the recipe. He did have me kick it up a notch by using a garlic and sage infused butter to rub the turkey with first. Although it turned out all right in the end, I'm not looking forward to being in charge of the turkey again any time soon. Get Well Matt!
I gave in to bribery today. After her first accident, I created the chart and promised M&Ms. It ended up being her one and only accident of the day. She was so successful that I had to get Matt to stop at the store for some little rewards. She's getting it. And we're getting a little bit closer to a little raise! Potty on, Miss M.
My cousin, Cullen, is getting married this weekend. The boys are looking pretty handsome, and ready for their job. Mommy is hoping for at least ONE family picture, and to not have to purchase tuxedos at the end of the night!
I am a domestic goddess (aka a stay at home mom) to two fabulous boys, Noah and Logan, and a sweet baby girl, Matilyn! I'm married to an amazing man, Matt, who works in Finance at Freescale in Austin. I teach Jazzercise in Cedar Park 4 mornings a week.
