Proverbs by Noah

At dinner last Sunday night, Noah told us his memory verse from church:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Probly 3:5"

Rub-A-Dub Dub, Three Cuties in the Tub!

"There's too many kids in the tub! There's too many elbows to scrub. I just washed a behind I'm sure wasn't mine. There's too many kids in the tub!" ~ Shel Silverstein

Mission Accomplished!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Because you are under 12, you must swim across the "deep" from the steps to the wall, by yourself.

Upon completing this, you will obtain one of these:

This will allow you to be able to go down the BIG slides!

Noah did it! Yippee! Which slide first?

The BLUE one!

He was so excited and so proud of his band.
Before we left, he went down each slide at least twice.
Thanks Ms. Linda for helping him learn to swim across the deep.
Our next mission: convincing Logan to try swimming lessons!

The Missing Tooth

I almost missed getting this picture. As you can see, if you look really close, there is already a tooth coming in. Noah lost his first tooth on June 27th. He pulled it out himself early that morning. The tooth fairy brought him a gold dollar coin (Pirate Treasure). I should probably get a picture of him showing me the money, if we can dig it out of the money bank. I can't believe he is growing up this fast. Kindergarten starts one month from today. *gulp*

Ready For Takeoff!

Camp Cothern just got even more COOL!

Ugh!

I keep trying to post more pictures, but the computer is not cooperating.

Day Two of Fun in the Sun - More sand castles, splashing in the water, and fishing on the jetty. Noah fished hard, but they didn't want to be caught. Uncle Allen taught him how to cast his fishing pole. A fish fry is not looking too promising, but Stephanie and Conner have been crabbing and we will be feasting on gumbo! Yummy.

Day Three - Mattie and Mommy hit the beach. Mattie took a nap on the blanket and Mommy read. The boys went on an adventure with Uncle Allen around Surfside. After lunch, Papa and Eric got here and we all headed back to the waves. Dinner was yummy brisket that Papa brought followed by an evening on the beach. Conner and Allen tried some night fishing, but I couldn't hang past 1am. I felt like I was watching the grass grow! I did see some really cool shooting stars.

Today's agenda - more of the same and maybe a trip to the sea center. Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Chey and Sarah get here today. And then Daddy gets here tomorrow morning! Yippee!!! We can't wait for him to get here and have some FUN with us. He's been working way too hard! Stay tuned, I'll keep trying to post pics.......

Wish You Were Here......

Our first day of fun in Surfside, Texas.
The water is beautiful and cold on a hot summer day.
We are ready for Daddy to get here!

Oh Happy Day! A New Baby!

My sweet Noah is a new baby believer. He prayed with Matt tonight to receive Christ. My heart is overflowing with joy! I told him that the angels were throwing him a party in Heaven right now because they were so excited for him. I think this has to be the best thing ever as a parent. I have been praying for this day since before he was born. I know his future is secure with Jesus. Praise God!
