Extreme Makeover: Christmas Tree Edition

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

 After I hung the stockings, Mattie said - "Mommy, I like all the socks!"

 A tree in need of some love!

 I have just the love bringers!

And it smells like Christmas, too!

Down On The Tree Farm

 This one fell asleep on the rainy drive out to the farm.

Taking a hay ride out to the trees:

 It took a little while, but we finally found our tree. The drought really took its toll on the trees at the farm, but with a little love this one would be perfect in the cozy corner of our house.

 She did not want to be in the picture. And she did not want to walk in the rain boots she was wearing!

 But then she decided it was okay:

 A chance to look at the animals while daddy tied the tree to the top of the car.

 Llama, llama, hungry mama!

A Little Rain Won't Stop Us From Keeping Our Christmas Traditions

 

We found our CHRISTmas tree today at the Elgin Christmas Tree Farm. The kids took turns helping Daddy cut it down. It was the perfect family afternoon outing.
