Our first time to see this Austin holiday tradition. We headed down to the lake early to grab dinner at the Hula Hut before. Getting out of the car, we learned that the 12 year old didn't wear shoes.....what?!?! He's lucky we found a Goodwill nearby and his mom was willing to buy him some gently used shoes. His daddy was ready to turn around and go home.

"Let it Go" was my favorite part. It was really good until the last song.....the Eyes of Texas. A boo might have escaped my mouth, and you can bet our guns were up.

We headed back north, picked up the puppy, and rode around the neighborhood looking at lights.
