The infamous Congress Burger. If you are hungry enough, you can make it look like a sandwich straight out of Scooby Doo! This place also has the most insane french fries I have ever eaten.
Me and Crystal at the concert:
WEW:
Despite being completely drunk, his songs are great!
Wednesday, Sept. 26th - Mattie's new rug came for her room.
Saturday, Sept 29th - I headed to Houston to see Beauty and the Beast with my mom, and a very pregnant Chey! It was as amazing as ever. And yes, I did cry. Again.
After the show, we headed back to my Brother's house to have dinner and watch Texas Tech vs. Iowa State. Here's the only pic I took.
Little Miss Sunshine, Cheyennie
Monday, October 1st - A movie/lunch date with my sweet girl to Find Nemo in 3D!
This girl is serious about her popcorn!
Just like her daddy.
Tuesday, October 2nd - A much needed 3 hours to winterize my hair:
Wednesday, October 3rd - And it begins.......
First preseason hockey game of the season.
(If you are wondering why our friend Luke is there instead of Noah, Mr. Noah got into a little trouble and was serving out his punishment by missing the game.)
The view from our new seats:
First stack of wings. Yay for Power Play goals!
These new seats are right in front of the camera guy. Lots and lots of screen time in our future!
The seats are also near where the players come in and out. Lots and lots of high fives!
Logan giving Mattie a kiss on the kiss cam!
Mattie gets some high fives!
Friday, October 5th - A new little someone made his appearance into the world, but he deserves his own blog post.
Friday night, Matt took the kids to the 2nd preseason hockey game. Getting high fives like the picture above, Mattie got the game puck from Max Fortunis. She is so proud of it. We will take it back to get it signed next game.
Saturday, October 6th - Mom was in Dallas for a Jazzercise Come Together District Meeting. This is pretty much the only picture I have from the 28 hours I was gone:
Three of the corporate instructors (including the President of Jazzercise). Kimberly took a pic of our team, but I don't have a copy of it yet.
While Mom was away, the boys each played a flag football game. Logan's Bronco team destroyed the competition, with each member of his team scoring a touchdown or extra point. Logan had a TD and pulled 7 flags. Noah's game was a little closer, but they won. Noah had a TD run called back because of a phantom flag guarding call (according to Coach Dad). We're waiting for the game film to see for sure.
Today, Sunday, October 7th - We have gone from Summer to Winter in the ATX, overnight.
We figured out how to light the fireplace this morning. Now it's just a matter of flipping a switch. Ha.
There you have the past 2 weeks in a nutshell. All is well. We have parent/teacher conferences on Monday. And I have to try and figure out how to escape to Houston to see about a baby!!!!
