Remember when this happened?
Well a week ago, Sunday (4/29) this happened:
- I put a load in the LG dryer, turned it on, selected my cycle, pressed start, and the dryer shut off.
- Called Sears.
- A repairman can come on Monday, May 7th. Here we go again.
- Repair man didn't call my cell to tell me he was on the way. Sears left a message that I needed to reschedule. Um. No.
- Someone needs to come to my house, today.
- Matt gets involved. When his wife is in tears, he's not happy.
- Repair guy comes. Must order the part, will be here in 5 days. Then you can call and get back on the schedule for me to come back, which will probably be 10 days from then. Um. No again.
- Matt gets involved, again. Watch out, people, heads are gonna roll.
- Matt goes to Sears. Fix it. Make it right. Make us want to shop at Sears again.
- New Samsung dryer will be delivered on Wednesday.
Not to mention the fact that I've been redoing the kitchen, cleaning like a madwoman, and creating more dirty laundry. Oh and I have 3 kids, 2 of them stinky boys! Back to the story......
- Yay, delivery men come. Bring it in boys!
- Um, not that way.
- OK, thanks guys. Dryer works, running the test cycle. Throw a load of towels in the washer.
- Turn the TV on for Mattie girl. Nothing happens. Really?
- Monster Power Surge Protector has failed.
- Matt involved. Headed to Best Buy.
- Throw the towels in the dryer before leaving to meet Matt.
- Power on, cycle selected, press start.
- THE DRYER POWERS OFF!!!!!!!
- Call Matt in tears.
- Google electricians in Austin. Call electrician. Maybe it's a faulty plug.
- Matt comes home. Fixes TV.
- Calls 2nd electrician. Calls PEC (our electric company). They are coming tomorrow to check the power to the house.
- Calls 1st electrician again, maybe it's the plug, an easy fix. We go to Lowe's.
- New plug installed. No go.
- Maybe it's a faulty power cord. Back to Lowe's. Nope, that's not it.
- On the phone with Sears. Another new dryer to be delivered on Saturday.
- 1st electrician, come on out tomorrow, just to be sure. We'll see what PEC says tomorrow, too.
- Wet pile of towels on the floor. Ugh.
- This.Momma.Is.Done.
