Dressed For Dinner

 1st night - casual

 Around the table on Captain's Night:

 Dinner was followed each night by "banilla" ice cream.

And what good would dinner be without a little dancing:

Sliding Into FUN!

 The slides on the Carnival Ecstasy.

We spent a lot of time on this deck!

It took Mattie a few times down the little racing slides holding someone's hand.

Then there was no stopping her!

She must've gone down these slides at least 300 times.

Each evening I carried her wrapped in a towel, crying, back to the room to get ready for dinner.

I see a trip to Schlitterbahn in our near future!

Healing Nicely

Well, we are just over 4 weeks removed from the broken collar bone. You can see where the bone is repairing itself. According to the orthopedist, this is what it is supposed to look like. He was able to move his arm all the ways the PA asked him to. We are officially out of the sling (even though we haven't worn it for the last week) but on limited activity for two more weeks: no trampolines, bicycles, or monkey bars. This ends just in time for a fun family 4th of July weekend at Grammy's! Get the speed bird rackets ready!!! We go back in 6 months for the final x-ray. Gonna make it!

Our Own Private Sea World

 Meeting Marcy, a 2 year old Pacific bottle-nosed dolphin.

Noah was so brave and participated in everything that he could!

 Logan and Mattie weren't as brave, but we managed to get them in the water, and they haven't stopped talking about it yet!

 The coolest part of the entire experience was getting to swim out to the middle of the cove, reaching your arms out to the side, and grabbing a hold of the fins that suddenly appeared beside you!

We all took turns dancing with Marcy.

"I like to move it, move it!"

We had a fantastic time swimming with the dolphins in Cozumel. Not only did we ride, dance, hug, kiss, and pet the dolphin, but she sang and twirled for us. There were 2 other dolphins in this cove, and all 3 of them jumped and raced and played for us. Marcy also sang a special song for Logan out of her blow hole (stick out your tongue between your lips and blow). He got a kick out of "Logan's Song." What an adventure of a lifetime!

Wonder What He's Thinking???

Grammy and Grandpa took the boys to the Houston Children's Museum today. Grammy texted me this picture. I really do wonder what he's thinking. It's not often that you can capture that kind of smile on that kid's face.

Home Improvement

The almost-finished master bathroom. I say almost because I want to update towels and bath mats, and I still need to move the shelves back into the corner. It could also probably use some cool piece of art on the empty wall next to the left, but my interior decorating skills leave something to be desired. The color is called mushroom bisque, and it does kinda remind you of mushroom soup. I'm still trying to figure out why it took us 9 years to paint this room. (9 years tomorrow, to be exact) Happy House Anniversary to us!
