As part of 2nd Grade's project based learning, a news anchor visited the school on Thursday. He took a picture with the kids and teachers and promised to talk about them on the morning news. We DVRd it, and fast forwarded to the segment. Logan was excited. Can you see him? Near the back, to the right of center, black shirt, cute smile.
Live music provided by our friends in the Austin Sound Exchange! They just returned from a mission trip to China, and gave a free concert at Lone Star Grille. A perfect night to hang out.

This time in an Infiniti QX56. I texted this picture to Matt with the caption, "Looks good on me, doesn't it?" I fell in love with it. I knew I would. If only.....
Baby T-Rex made an appearance getting ready for Walking With Dinosaurs.
Silly kiddos.
Took the kiddos on a hockey date. We were behind most of the game, tied it up, and won in the first 40 seconds of OT. Free tickets for next Wednesdays game!
Followed by treating ourselves to lunch after walking 4 1/2 miles. We ate at the surf-n-turf trailer. I have to say, I think it was the best fish taco I have ever had. So delish.
It should be fun and exciting. I took this one for a test drive today. I like it, but they have it way overpriced. Trying not to get in a hurry. Thanks to mom, we have time. I know the right one is out somewhere out there.
When the Texans didn't rush the quarterback, Coach Dad let Logan get out and play QB. Technically this qualified as "non-contact." He was awesome! And the joy on his face melted this momma's heart. Love watching my kids play ball.
I made the drive to Sealy to be a part of the surprise 40th birthday party for my college bestie and roommate, Tracye. She was totally surprised, and even more shocked that I was there. It was a fun night of celebrating this fabulous friend. I love her and miss her beautiful face so much. So glad I made the trip.
Crystal and I took advantage of the beautiful weather, the cool town we live in, and having all our kids in school, and went down to Lady Bird Lake for some exercise. We walked/jogged around a 4 mile loop, then hit the trailer park for a Mighty Cone lunch. It was a fabulous morning!
Five weeks post collar bone break, Logan was released for ground level activity, and restricted from cutting, jumping, and contact sports for 4 more weeks. Hang in there LoJo. We're getting there.
After his appointment, we went out for a lunch date and dessert at Freddy's.
We sold the suburban today. It has been listed on Craigslist since September 6th, but yesterday was the first inquiry. Within 24 hours, it was sold! A huge thank you to mom and dad, I have a car to drive until we can figure out what "new-to-me" car to get!
Grandma and Papa hung out with the kiddos while Matt and I went to Oktoberfest at the CEO's house - complete with a polka band, plenty of beer, bratwurst, and the CEO in lederhosen.
We came home to these football fans, some still hanging in there.
While my fellow alum were cheering the Red Raiders on to victory, I was cheering for my little stud. He is a playmaker on the football field. I love watching him play.
I am a domestic goddess (aka a stay at home mom) to two fabulous boys, Noah and Logan, and a sweet baby girl, Matilyn! I'm married to an amazing man, Matt, who works in Finance at Freescale in Austin. I teach Jazzercise in Cedar Park 4 mornings a week.
