My Beautiful Kiddos
We spent a long weekend at Lake LBJ with my dad’s side of the family. We had a great time enjoying the sun, the boat, the water, and just hanging out together. I have to admit, though, I took 2 pictures the entire weekend. Doesn’t make for much of a blog post. However, who needs to worry about taking pictures, when you have an AMAZING sister-in-law that takes pictures like these:
It doesn’t hurt that the subjects are so stinking adorable.
Thanks Chey for taking the time to take the pictures.
Show Week at the Little Gym
Everyone please shake your bells and sing along with me…… Warming up with a little run. Group activity: the parachute For 18 weeks before, she wouldn’t get near the thing. By the last class (20th week) she finally decided to take a ride: She loved to go under. Walking the beam, over and over again.
Balls and bubbles are always a favorite!

Last Day of Kindergarten…..
On the last day of school, Noah’s class celebrated with breakfast (above) and then Mrs. Saul handed out certificates and awards (below).
(Gee, I wonder where he gets it from? Mom’s best subject, Dad’s job for a living, and two Grandmas that both taught math.)
And now he’s a “grader.” How in the world did he get to be so big?
Way to go Kiwis, Way to go!
Logan’s last soccer game of the season was today. It’s been a season of ups and downs. Logan was definitely the star of the team. I think it’s safe to say that if Logan hadn’t been there, there really wouldn’t have been a team. (And I’m not saying it just because I’m his mom.) I was so proud of him today. He made it through the game with only one crying incident. (Lately, he’s been crying through the whole game. I wonder where he gets his competitiveness???)
Ready for kick-off. On his way to the first of at least 8 goals.
He shoots. He scores. GOOOOAAAAAL!
High fives all around. 1, 2, 3 Kiwis!
His very first trophy. He’s so excited and so proud. What was left of the Kiwi team that started out as 10 kids.
I think Logan has some real soccer potential. This summer we may go back to our INDOOR soccer skills class, and try organized soccer again when he’s a little bit older. We will also watch some World Cup games this summer and point out how they don’t cry when they “just aren’t very good.” One thing is for sure, he was a scoring machine!

Noah’s Journey to Atlantis
At the end of last season, Noah was just a hair too short to ride this ride. He’s been eating his veggies for this! Can you see Matt’s head sticking up?
Just before the big wall of water:That. Was. Cool. Can we do it again, dad?
They did. At least 10 times. Mom even took 2 turns. It was a perfect day for Sea World. No lines, no crowds, and plenty of sun and fun!
Next growth spurt: The Steel Eel. The line attendant was being a stick in the mud.
