One last picture of the tree before the chaos begins.
Daddy was the big kid on Christmas with these. He couldn't wait for the boys to open them so he could build them a track!
So far we have had a fantastic Christmas.
It began Christmas Eve at a beautiful church service. Carols, candles, my husband playing The First Noel (Chris Botti style) on his trumpet, and my sweet friend Kristin bringing us to tears singing O Holy Night. And I can't forget the kids' favorite part - the snow inside. Not to mention, before we left for church, it actually snowed outside!!!
I loved seeing the excitement of the boys as we put out cookies and milk for Santa, and the oatmeal for the reindeer. They could hardly close their eyes to go to sleep. Then to see their joy as each gift they opened was their favorite and what they always wanted. My favorite quote of the day was Logan. As he opened an AC adapter for his portable VSmile, he kept saying, "Wow! Wow!" I asked him, "What is it?" He excitedly responded, "I don't know!"
The day was spent in pajamas, Christmas music on the stereo, and toys everywhere. I love giving gifts to my children. How much more does God love me that He gave me the most perfect gift 2009 years ago. So hard to comprehend, yet so easy to embrace the peace, love, hope and joy of Jesus.
Merry Christmas.
Stay tuned....we have 2 more "Christmases" to go.
