Her Last Day As A SonShine!

Moving on to the Shining Stars. One more year of preschool for this princess. These were her teachers this year: Mrs. Jennifer, Mrs. Susan, and Mrs. Lisa. They are truly awesome women. We are so blessed to be a part of High Hopes. She's already asking when her next day of school is.

M.I.A. Again. What Else Is New?

Wednesday 5/29: The Curtain Call

Finally hung 'em up. They look awesome! Matt said, "It actually looks like the room was meant to be gray." That was the idea - to not have to paint it. Thank you Grandma for the awesome sewing. We love all of it. Logan's room is one of a kind, just like you!!!!

Tuesday 5/28: Apparently nothing exciting happened today. I have no pictures. Guess we were just trying to survive the beginning of the last week of school!

 Monday 5/27: Cutest Cousins Around
Aunt Chey gets credit for the picture (of course) but I'll take credit for the smiles! These kiddos make my heart smile in a big way!

Sunday 5/26: Let's Go On An Adventure!

Saturday 5/25: My Newest Happy Place
My Mom and Dad's new house on Lake Limestone. It's absolutely beautiful, and they move in for good in a couple of weeks. I see many, many, many trips to the lake in our future. I love that my kids will grow up with the same kind of memories that I have from the river and Lake LBJ.

Friday 5/24: Rain Dance
 Who needs an umbrella?

You've Got To Have Friends!

The one in the middle, Luke, was graduating from preschool tonight. This was the celebration dinner beforehand.

Splash Day Cutie!

This girl is ready for summer!

Splash Day Is Super Fun!

I think this girl found her bravery:

Then she found even more bravery and went through the "car wash" inflatable!

 Making a BIG splash!

Topping it off with a yummy cupcake!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play in Steve Smith's shoes?

Matt just might find out.....

Thanks to Coach Eugene (my friend Crystal's brother-in-law). He played football with Steve and Chad Ochocinco in college. They called themselves the "Fab Five." Coach Eugene's been running football drills with my boys, and he helped coach this past spring season. Matt says "I could've played football" and I say I want to meet Steve and Ochocinco!

Half-Birthday Surprise!

I helped the 3rd graders surprise Mrs. J with birthday treats, since her bday is in July. We pulled it off. She loved the silly card that they all signed. The awesome parents chipped in to be able to give her balloons, a mini bundt cake, donuts for the class, and a $50 gift card to Chuy's.

*****
This is the awesome bouquet we created for her for teacher appreciation. I gave her the vase, and all of the kids brought a few flowers to put in it. We love Mrs. J!

Not a bad way to sit in a morning meeting.....

A Letter To Grammy

She was so proud to do it all by herself. And everyday she asks if Grammy has her letter yet. (She will when she gets back from Colorado!)

Celebrating Summer Birthdays in Kindergarten

Making treat bags for the class.
Yes I still do have some flashes of creativity left in me.

Can't believe he is almost a 1st grader, and getting closer to SEVEN!
Crazy Fun!

Field Day Fun Last Friday

 At the kid wash.....
I was only able to make it to about 10 minutes of Noah's field day, and then it took me 5 minutes to find him in the sea of kids. By that time, he was going through the wash over, and over, and over again!

I was able to follow Logan for most of his field day. Trying his hand at throwing the javelin:
 Box Hockey:

 Slip-n-slide Races:

 The Big Slide:
This school sure knows how to throw a carnival/field day/last day of school party! We love CRE!
