This precious picture was taken by Aunt Chey. She and Uncle Jimmy were taking the girls for a walk up the road to see the horses. Chey always takes amazing pictures, and captures these moments so perfectly. I just love these two little girls. Their mommies think they are growing up way too fast.

Happy As A Little Fish!
Just give this girl a swimming pool (or pult as she calls it) and she's one happy camper.
The only thing better than this, was going in the "big water" - the lake.
I see many, many trips to the pool this summer.

Limestone Lake-a-palooza: Memorial Day Edition
We spent the weekend at Papa's Garage on Lake Limestone. As usual, we had a blast eating, skiing, tubing, fishing and playing in the "big water." We are already looking forward to many more family trips to the new lake!

I'm Not Very Good At Sitting Still
So wait before the Lord.
Wait in the stillness.
And in that stillness, assurance will come to you.
You will know that you are heard;
you will know that your Lord pnders the voice of your humble desires;
you will hear quiet words spoken to you yourself,
perhaps to your grateful surprise and refreshment.
Wait in the stillness.
And in that stillness, assurance will come to you.
You will know that you are heard;
you will know that your Lord pnders the voice of your humble desires;
you will hear quiet words spoken to you yourself,
perhaps to your grateful surprise and refreshment.
~Amy Carmichael
"From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us."
Acts 17:26-27

Broken
Logan has the honor of being the first of our kiddos to have a broken bone. I'm a little surprised it took over 4 1/2 years to happen. He is the most accident prone kid. Sunday afternoon he was running at his end-of-the-year football party, tripped, and fell onto the sidewalk. Mommy and Daddy were out of town on an anniversary trip, so Grammy and Grandpa came to the rescue. He's a tough little cookie, so it's going to be hard to keep him down for the next 4 weeks.

Happy Anniversary To Us
Not a bad way to spend #12.
(This was after the griddled bread pudding for breakfast and a massage!)
Thanks Super-Grammy and Super-Grandpa for keeping the kids.

Splash Day
Ready for some fun!
Last year, I was only able to get him to go down the waterslide holding my hand.
This year, once he found his bravery, there was no stopping him!
Next up, the BIG slide!
WOOHOO!
A double treat kinda day.
Since his birthday is during the summer, I brought cupcakes today for his class to celebrate with him.
I'm so proud of this kid. He's come a long way in a year.
Keep it up, little man.

Beautiful Girls
My mom emailed me this picture that she found tonight.
The beautiful lady in the middle is my Grandma. My mom is on her left holding me, and my aunt Gwen is on her right holding my cousin Amber. And now Amber and I each have a baby girl. They look a lot like the little ones in this picture. How I wish my sweet Grandma was still here. I would love to take this picture again, adding the next generation of beautiful girls.
Open Wide
Mattie's first visit to the dentist.
She watched her bubbas, but didn't want it to be her turn.
We finally got her to let Dr. Kelsey look at her teeth.
Then she was "all done," and "I want get down."
She did say goodbye to everyone, and left with a pink toothbrush, a pink balloon, and a smile!
Bubba Hugs
What you don't see in this picture is 30 seconds before she was beating him on the arm trying to get his attention to get a hug!
This girl LOVES her bubbas!

"This Is Awesome!!!"
Which is what he is saying here.
Riding a thrill ride at Main Event at George's birthday party.
I also have to note here that Noah bowled a 100, with 2 spares and a strike! He was pretty pumped. I'd say he had a pretty great day. This morning he scored 2 touchdowns (in 2 different games) in his final games of the season.
Big Hug Goodbye
Claire and Mattie had a super fun time at Grammy and Grandpa's.
After a quick lunch in Waco on Friday, it was time to say goodbye.
These two love being princesses, mommies, friends, and sweet girls together.

2nd Annual Birthday Pedicures
It wasn't the Ritz, but it was fun!
After getting pretty toes, we headed across the street for lunch at Main Street Grill.
Much needed girl time for Mommy.
Any way we can make this semi-annual???

While Sister's Away
I had a dinner date with my two favorite little men.
Sweet boys that make their momma smile.
A Dad Pile
Nothing says "I love you" like jumping on Daddy.
He takes a beating, but deep down, I think he loves it.

I Like Mine With Lettuce and Tomato
Told Mattie we were having cheeseburgers, she started singing Buffett. One too many hockey games, I guess. (They play the song while the big cheeseburger blimp floats around)
Big appetites after big football games today.
Yummy!
This Giant Turns On The Jets!
The Giants finally win a game, and Noah had his best game of the season! Along with this touchdown, he pulled 3 flags and completed a pass to Brennan. I'm so proud of this kid. (As if you couldn't tell from his biggest fan screaming on the video!)
Logan Scores Again!
As Logan says, "I scored 2 touchdowns on the same play!!!"
Then he tells Noah in the car on the way home, "Noah I'm good on offense and you are good on defense."
And Mom and Dad owe him $2.00.
Way to turn on the LoJo Mojo.

Who Needs Family Movie Night....
....when there's hockey on.
We don't even live in San Jose or Detroit.
Noah's rooting for the Sharks, only because Daddy's pulling for the Redwings.
Logan put himself to bed after his popcorn was finished.
Mattie's just looking for Ice Girls.

It's Puzzling
Logan got this cool puzzle in his Easter basket. There are 3 sections: a 24 big-piece puzzle, a 48 middle-sized piece puzzle, and a 100 smaller piece puzzle. Then they push together to make one big puzzle. Logan did the 24 piece puzzle by himself, and then Noah joined him for the other two. Working as a team, they were able to complete all 172 pieces before church!
Pretty Princesses in Pink
About to eat some mac-n-cheese.
Ready for a fun night at Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes.
A mommy/daughter Saturday night out.
