What's In Your Kitchen?

Making a big mess in order to clean up and organize the original mess.
The goal was to reclaim the kitchen countertop for kitchen use instead of home office use. After a visit to Ikea some assembly required, we have created a home office in the corner of the breakfast area.
This is Matt working to make the home computer wireless. He had to run the wire through the living room, into the guest room to attach it to the router, in order to set up the wireless.
This is where we are now. I finished my sewing project last night (to be blogged later), so the sewing in the window can be put away. I'm planning to get some baskets to put in the shelves to hide the craft stuff. The exciting part: we got rid of the buffet, we can get rid of the barstools, no more laptops on the kitchen counter, and we were able to turn the table back gaining about 2 feet of space! I know it may still look like a lot of clutter, but it's organized clutter to me!

Fun With Ladies And Longhorns

Earlier this month, my Jazzercise ladies got together at JoAnn's house to celebrate Nancy getting married. Here we are:

JoAnn went all out to take care of my kiddos. She had hot dogs and sausages on one of those spinning hot dog roasters. Later, she popped popcorn in an old-fashioned machine, and they sat on the floor and watched a movie.

But the highlight of the afternoon was getting to go in the pen and feed the baby longhorns.

When Logan would walk toward the gate, one of the babies would follow him.
Don't step in the piles!
They even got to feed Rowdy, and Logan says, "He has a BIG tongue!" What a fun experience for them.

There Are No Words......

Mommy Plays Beauty Shop

I got a little carried away after bath time tonight. Time to get some baby ponytail holders and matching bows? Anyways, you get the idea.

She's so stinkin' cute, I can't stand it! I love this baby girl!

Blog Illustrated - Swimsuit Edition

Summer Is Here, Let's Hit The Lake!

Papa loaded up the boat and we headed to one of my most favorite places to be.
The boys were ready for a ride on Papa's boat.
Mattie was right at home, once she got used to the bulky life jacket.
Noah even decided he wanted to learn to ski. He took one turn at it.
Daddy got in the water to help.
He submarined, let go of the rope, and came up crying. Maybe we'll try again next time. I'm proud of him for trying.
We spent some time swimming, and near the "beach" so Logan could throw rocks in the water. He wanted nothing to do with swimming. I need to pull out pictures of last summer to remind him of all the big jumps he did.
Daddy took no time to return to form....
Logan?

Cutie Pie!

My boys.

It was a fun day on the lake. Thanks for bringing the boat Papa. We are looking forward to Father's Day weekend when all of the family will be together.

Look out Kindergarten, Here comes Noah!

Noah "graduated" from High Hopes Preschool. We watched him perform at his program. They sang a few songs: Good Morning Song (Good Good God), I Want To Know You (with sign language), I Am A Strong Man (see below).
His teachers presented the boys with "Mighty Warrior" Bibles. Mommy cried.

So Long, Farewell, Auf Vedersein, Goodbye......

"The sun has gone to bed, and so must I..."
"Good-bye."
Good-bye High Hopes, hello Block House Elementary. What a fabulous introduction to school for my sweet boy. I loved seeing how much his teachers loved him. He is ready for his next adventure.
Only 80 sleeps to go.

She's Getting The Hang Of It

When she was concentrating last night, she sat for about 5 minutes at a time.
Poor baby has a big bald spot and baby comb-over.
It's a whole new world up here!

If she turns to look at something, then over she goes!
Tonight at ReaLife Group, she sat in front of me on the floor for at least 20 minutes without falling over. My baby girl is growing up way too fast!
